Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Law, the Law in question is the Hebrew Law, coming in two components.

1) The Levitical Laws are built to set the Jewish people apart as God’s people. Certain rules stand to make them seem different. As they are held accountable people can look to them.

2) The Ten Commandments are universal and apply to everyone, not merely Jews, Israelites, Hebrews.

The inability to measure up to the expectations of good, to be what we know of right and wrong, was established by our nature. This gap created by the inability was bridged by Christ.

Hence Christ came for all, and made Judaism into something inclusive and evangelical, assuming that Western Civilization organically flows from Judaism into Christianity.
