If you enjoy your daylight then that particular joy will gradually diminish for the greater remainder of the year. Let’s look at the specifics for those of us in a very particular section of the globe, Mid-Michigan:

  • June 20th Sunday – 15 hours 19 minutes and 46 seconds of daylight – the maximum amount for the year
  • June 21st Monday – 15 hours 19 minutes 45 seconds
  • June 22nd Tuesday – 15 hours 19 minutes 41 seconds
  • June 23rd Wednesday – 15 hours 19 minutes 32 seconds

The amount you receive varies, of course, depending on your location. Central New Mexico gets approximately 44 minutes less daylight. Drummond apparently gets a few more seconds actually.
